Happenings

Each year, the church provides an alternative giving program that allows the purchase of gifts in honor of someone.  Maybe it is someone who especially would appreciate the chance to help others.  The list of gifts is below. A card will be sent to the person you are honoring or it will be provided for you to send, whichever you prefer.

You need JavaScript enabled to view it. or fill out a form in the Welcome Center. Please designate the amount toward the angel gift you would like as designated.  Use the giving link after emailing to make or donation, or drop a check by the church, or place one in the mail. 

1. Flowers for the altar for any Sunday $25 - Select a special day to honor someone in your life with altar flowers. Take them home after the 10:15am service.
2. Shoes for Kids $40- A gift card for the shoe store goes a long way to brightening the day of a student and allowing them to pick out their own shoes.
3. ASP trip for a youth $400 – (whole or portion) - Pay the cost for a youth to go on the ASP trip. (Any amount toward this will bless a youth)
4. 30-quart post for the kitchen $150 (4 needed) - The large pots in the kitchen have lasted a long time but need to be replaced with non-stick ones. 
5. Donation for Puerto Rico Mission (any amount) - Support Puerto del Cielo, our partner congregation, by contributing to the supplies needed.
6. Manna House Breakfast Day $500 -  (whole or portion) Support this ministry by sponsoring a day; then you can volunteer to go on one of our dates if you choose!
7. Haiti Education Program ($30 for a child to go to school for a month) - Help pay for a child to go to school where an education is not free and where many families cannot afford an education.
8. Sponsor a Camp Awesome Sunday $90 - Special events make church the place for families to be on summer Sundays such as Scales and Tails (animals), moon bounces, carnival games, and more.
9. The Building Fund   Any amount – This fund allows us to make necessary improvements and repairs as they happen.  Recent events included a new fan for the HVAC system, a new freezer, and more that allows the building to be utilized for mission and ministry. It’s the stuff you DON’T expect!!
