Worship is celebrated each Sunday at 9:00 am and 10:15 am, and Saturday night at 5:30 pm. Child care is provided for all three of our worship services (see below).

Saturday Night Coffee House 5:30 pm takes place in our Welcome Center (main front doors). Grab a cup of coffee from our coffee bar and join us for worship. It's a 45 minute experience that fills your night with the Spirit of Christ!  (There will be no Saturday Coffeehouse Worship Service from June 29–July 27.  It will start up again on Saturday, August 3.)

Sunday Morning 9:00 am worship is about 50-minutes and features our Praise Band.  It's a great place for families to worship together.

Sunday Morning 10:15 am worship is an hour worship time featuring a blended/traditional service with organ and piano, a children's message, our choirs, message and prayer.  Youth and Children's Sunday School is held during the service.  Although youth go straight to small group, children begin in the worship service with their parents. So, come into church, sit down and relax, and Pastor Karin will call the children to the front. They are then excused to go to the classes and are escorted there by several adults. Parents are also welcome to go with them to see the classrooms. That is the place where you will pick them up!

Parking is available in both lots that surround our facility, with overflow parking available at the library next door, accessible by a connecting sidewalk.

Doorways to our facility are found adjacent to the parking lots. If you enter on the lower level, follow the signs up the stairs or to the elevator to the upper level where the Sanctuary entrance is located.  At the Sanctuary entrances you will find friendly people (our greeters) who will be happy to answer any of your questions and escort you to the various places in our building.

Children are a gift from God and are always welcome here. At the 10:15 service, after the Impact message, parents can elect to escort their elementary and younger children to their classrooms, or the children can travel with their escorted group. Groups meet at the double Sanctuary doors after the children's message. Middle & high school students meet their teachers directly in their classrooms before worship. Children are always welcome to remain in worship with their parents. During our two worship services, we have staff who provide care for our infants and toddlers. Our Nursery provides a comfortable place for our youngest and is equipped with a secure sign in process so parents can attend worship with assurance that they can be reached if needed. The morning worship is broadcast throughout the upper level. Comfortable seating can be found in our Welcome Center. If you find that you might be more comfortable there and need to relocate during worship, please feel free to use this area.

Dress is always up to you.  You will see everything from suits to recreational sports gear.  Be yourself, be comfortable.

Communion (Lord’s Supper or Eucharist) is celebrated the first Sunday of the month at both of our worship times and at all our Saturday night services.  Our communion table is open to all persons desiring to connect with God through the loaf and the cup.  Traditional bread, gluten free bread and non-fermented wine are used.  If you would rather not participate in this portion of the service, please feel free to relax and enjoy the music.

Worship Folders contain the order of worship for our Sunday services. Everything appears on the screen as well. At 10:15, the hymns are also in the red book in the pews. There also is a Bible in the pews if you want to follow along.

Coffee Fellowship is held each Sunday between and after the morning services in the Welcome Center. Our church is about God, worship, community and compassion.  Please join us for a cup, some conversation, and an opportunity to get to know each other better.

Fallston United Methodist Church celebrated its 175th Anniversary in 2002. Our beginnings date to 1827, and even before, to a group of Methodists that worshipped in homes in this part of Harford County, Maryland. Fallston United Methodist Church was formed by the 1962 merger of Providence Methodist Church and Friendship Methodist Church, both located on Fallston Road and served by the same pastor since 1952.

We built our Education building in 1966, completed our Sanctuary in 1977, and added a large gymnasium, stage and kitchen in 2001. Two spaces bear the names Friendship Center (gym) and Providence Hall in honor of our founding congregations.

We are today a vibrant congregation, from our babies and toddlers to those who have been part of FUMC for decades, with an average Sunday worship of about 300. Our Sunday School program, staffed by more than 25 volunteer teachers, serves about 100 children each week.

Fallston Child Care Center

Children learning at the Fallston Childcare Center
Fallston Child Care Center first opened its doors in September of 1982. The day care center was organized as an outreach of Fallston United Methodist Church for the purpose of helping to answer the community’s child care needs. Offering families affordable, quality child care in a small-group setting within the church facility was the goal of this ministry. Concern for each child as an individual is basic to our philosophy. Fallston Child Care Center seeks to create a loving, caring atmosphere that will stimulate young minds and help them grow mentally, physically, and socially.
