We've SAVED a SEAT just for YOU!
We invite you to connect with us and transform your life in a lot of ways. It isn't just a place for worship. It isn’t simply the chance to fellowship, make new friends, engage with groups of people in fun and enjoyable events.  It isn’t just a great way to raise kids with important values so that they become good people and Lord knows, parents can use a little help!  It isn’t just a way to participate in missions that let you know you are making an impact in the world. It isn’t only a place where people will pray for you.  It is all of that!
And it is a place that feels like home—a place where the love of Christ is central and where people are doing the best they can to be like Jesus. We journey together. We welcome everyone. We have different opinions and we come from a lot of different backgrounds and places. We agree to disagree and focus on the amazing grace of God.  We care about each other, about our community, and the world.  Join us and walk closer with Christ!
Blessings, Karin and Danny

Faith and Beliefs

We are Spirit-Empowered and Christ-Centered.  Whether you are a lifelong Christian or someone who isn’t sure how Christ can be active in your life, this is the place for you.  We have countless stories to tell of how the Spirit has made a difference in the lives of folks in our congregation and those we serve. We feel prayer empowers our work, and our work blesses others. Lives are changed, people are carried when they cannot walk, and supported and blessed as together we celebrate the victories and struggle together through the difficult days.  You will find a friend here.

We are people from all walks of life on a journey to be like Jesus. We realize that means our priority is to be our mission focused. Here at Fallston Church, we are always engaged with people outside our four walls—from our local communities, to Appalachia, Puerto Rico, and around the world.  From adopting families at Thanksgiving and Christmas, to adopting a family and their new apartment in our area, to responding immediately to disasters like tornadoes in the Midwest or hurricanes on the islands, we invite the community to join us in making an impact in the world.  Our outward mindset connects us to one another and to many who cross our path.

If you want to make a significant impact on the lives of others as well as be blessed, we are the place for you. Come and learn more about how your life can transform someone else’s life, and how God’s amazing love can transform you.  If you are reading this, consider it a sign that God is nudging you to draw closer.  And God doesn’t take no for answer!!  Just read Jonah, lol.

If you are in need of prayer today, you have come to the right place.  We can put you on our prayer list or put you in touch with a Stephen’s Minister or Pastor Karin.  Please email Prayers.

Connect and Serve

Being a part of a SMALL GROUP is a truly uplifting part of our faith experience as an extension of the community we find in worship. There are many short (a few weeks) and longer (all year long) groups available and open to all including: bible study, book club, women's group, men's group, prayer group, grief support, adult fellowship and a variety of choirs. Some are in person, others by Zoom and others offer both. Check out the HAPPENINGS tab to see the current group offerings.

We are very involved with MISSIONS each month: from local missions including the neighboring food pantries, Manna House of Baltimore, Sharing Table of Harford County, ARC, adopt-a-family programs, school supplies and shoe missions for local children, support school lunch debt to national missions like UMCOR, Puerto Rico, Operation Christmas Child and Appalachia Service Project. We also connect locally with local nursing homes, scouting and more! The HAPPENINGS tab has information about the current mission project. Feel free to jump right in and serve!

Fallston Child Care Center

Fallston Child Care Center first opened its doors in September of 1982. The day care center was organized as an outreach of Fallston United Methodist Church for the purpose of helping to answer the community’s child care needs. Offering families affordable, quality child care in a small-group setting within the church facility was the goal of this ministry. Concern for each child as an individual is basic to our philosophy. Fallston Child Care Center seeks to create a loving, caring atmosphere that will stimulate young minds and help them grow mentally, physically, and socially. See their website for more information

Fallston Christian Home School

Fallston Christian Home School is a ministry of Fallston UMC serving local Christian families in Harford, Cecil and Baltimore Counties. The goal is to encourage and inspire parents in the rewarding journey of home education. See their website for more information

Interested in Scouting?  Find out how your child can enjoy adventures and new friendships, build confidence, support the community, learn leadership skills, connect with the outdoors, have FUN and so much more!  We are very privileged to have a number of scout and pack groups that meet here each week. Fallston United Methodist Church's beginnings date back to 1827, and even before, to a group of Methodists that worshiped in homes in this part of Harford County, Maryland. Fallston UMC was formed by the 1962 merger of Providence Methodist Church and Friendship Methodist Church, both located on Fallston Road and served by the same pastor since 1952.

We built our Education building in 1966, completed our Sanctuary in 1977, and added a large gymnasium, stage and kitchen in 2001. Two spaces bear the names Friendship Center (gym) and Providence Hall in honor of our founding congregations.

Today we are a vibrant congregation, from our babies and toddlers to those who have been part of Fallston UMC for decades.
